Call for Participants - #3 in Croatia

Are you interested in waste reduction? Do you want to get to know more enthusiasts who want to make a change? Are you ready to learn more about Zero Waste? Join the next meeting "Go Zero, Danube" from the 19th to the 26th of November in Križevci, Croatia! "Go Zero, Danube!" is a youth exchange on waste reduction in the Danube region. Together, we have a look at challenges of waste in our countries and find out interesting solutions and sustainable alternatives. We will also get to know innovative entrepreneurs who can inspire us to make a change. WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? 20 young people between 18 and 23 years from Baden Württemberg, Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania and Ukraine. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? 50€ for Germans, 30€ for other Danube citizens. Go Rural in Ukraine

Ozero (Ukraine), the D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics (Bulgaria) and Starkmacher (Germany) organised another youth week on waste reduction in June 2019.  The trilateral exchange "Go Zero, Danube!" took place in Ukraine with 20 participants aged between 19 and 25. The meeting started in the capital Kiev with an Alternative Guided Tour. After the group found each other and already had an intensive day with many new impulses, the group travelled together to Babyn in the western region to stay at an Eco-Lodge for the rest of the week. The participants got further coached on the topic "Zero Waste". The goal of the week was achieved: the participants learned a lot more about responsible consumption, environmental living and about how to adopt alternative principles of waste recution.
